2023 National Winner

In its 5th year, the 2023 Young Plumber of the Year competition held at Claudelands in Hamilton showcased the industry’s top talents. Cody Hall of CF Reese Plumbing emerged victorious after a challenging practical test and a grueling day of competition.

The competition began in Auckland, where finalists visited platinum sponsors to gain insights into the industry. The following day in Hamilton included a demanding theory test and a 3.5-hour practical skills challenge, with Red Bull keeping the energy high.

Cody Hall, a third-generation plumber, secured the title, while Liam DeWar and Blake Patrick took second and third place, respectively. Ben Howie earned the Most Valuable Plumber award.

The event wouldn’t be possible without the support of sponsors, and all plumbing products were donated to Habitat for Humanity. The competition’s success underscores the promising future of the plumbing industry. Congratulations to all finalists, and here’s to another successful event in 2024! 🏆🔧 #YoungPlumber2023 #PlumbingExcellence #IndustryLeadership
